|Manaka Junpei, a junior high-school student falls in love at the first sight to a mysterious girl he met on the roof of school building.
Believing that the mysterious girl’s name is Nishino Tsukasa, Junpei confess to Tsukasa, the cutest girl in school, by a spectacular pull up confession. And amazingly, Tsukasa accepts it. So Junpei become the boyfriend of the number one idol in school.
Toujou Aya is a shy and homely girl, wearing thick glasses. She’s very smart and always get the highest rank in school. By fate, Junpei gets closer to Aya after she helps Junpei studying to enter Izumisaka High, the school with movie club, Junpei’s dream. When one day Aya decided to replace her glasses with contact lens, her appearance totally changed, and Junpei realizes that Aya was the mysterious girl he met before.
Kitaouji Satsuki meets Junpei as his classmate in Izumisaka High. Starting with lots of fights, she ended up fall in love with Junpei.
Three girls like Junpei (more than three in manga version). Three of them have totally different characteristic. Aya is the girl Junpei shares his dream with. Satsuki is the girl he feels most comfortable to talk to. Tsukasa is the perfect girl who seems unreachable to Junpei.
Uhm… by the way… if you happen to realize that I have Nishino’s special gallery in this page. Yes, she’s my favourite one. Why? Don’t ask ^_^
Ichigo 100% is a great manga written by Kawashita Mizuki. The anime version is released in 12 episodes and 1 OVA. If you like to read the real story of Ichigo 100%, I suggest you read the manga. The anime is not bad, but many things are cut to make the story shorter, so in the end we missed many important things.
For some reasons, I really like this story. It might looks like an ordinary story of a man surrounded by many beautiful girls, but it’s not ! Ichigo 100% has something different which you need to find it yourself. Recommended for all ages.
My rating for the manga : ★★★★☆
My rating for the anime : ★★★☆☆
