Suguha, the real imouto.
This episode finally allow us to see a little bit of what happened in the real world while our heroes were trapped in SAO world. Kirito found himself awake in a hospital bed, with a very weak body (from no physical activities for more than 2 years). Asuna, on the other hand, does not die, but does not wake up. Almost all players trapped in Aincrad were successfully logged out (and wake up in real life) except for 300 people, and Asuna is one of them, still in hospital bed, unconscious for no clear reason.
We also finally get to see Suguha, Kirito’s imouto (younger sister) in real world. Though she’s actually Kirito’s cousin, adopted by his parents. Remember back in episode 4 when Kirito told Silica about having a younger “sister”?
Suguha is clearly having a crush on Kirito, her own brother. I mean, she’s a good imouto and I find her character likeable, but still I think Asuna is the one for Kirito.
