After the fire incident, Princess Nike returns to Livius’ castle. Technically she’s Livius’ wife now, even though we don’t get to see any wedding ceremony (which I believe should not be a small even considering Livius’ position as a king).

There’s nothing serious in this episode. Livius decides to have a party to officially “welcome” Nike and to introduce her to the ambassadors from other countries and other people from his government. Being a princess from a poor-faraway place, Nike receives harsh treatment from them. Livius defends her, of course. Not that Nike actually needs him to do that though.

Next, Nike realizes that Livius is actually a hard working kind, despite of his young age. And Livius secretly shows how he cares to Nike, from preparing those flowers every night to being reasonably sensitive to her feeling every-time they had a fight. It’s not the lovey-dovey type of couple, also not a fairy tale. But if they do end up falling in love later on, I would say it’s a believable story. Except for the fact that he’s still a kid, of course. Maybe few years later when he’s a proper man.

At the welcoming party, Princess Nike summons rain again. Not for the guests and not for entertainment. She performs her magic solely for Livius, and he understands that completely.

Another loveable episode. I love the “Tender Rain” song, I but kinda wish they would use different song every-time Nike-hime summons rain. I guess that would be too expensive on their production budget to create too many songs.
