We have a new arc starting from this episode. Since episode 14.5 is basically a recap, I don’t even bother to do any screenshot and write something about it.
Our next arc of SAO is about a legendary sword called Calibur. We’re back to ALO, back to the root of the story. And I’m really really thrilled to watch this episode. Well, GGO arc is not bad, but it doesn’t feel like SAO. Now we have everyone from season 1 back in action, plus Sinon, which apparently transfers her character to ALO and becomes an archer.
The quest to obtain Calibur started when Leafa (Suguha) asked Kirito to save a weird monster, then gave it a name: Tonkii. Turns out, that monster is part of a hidden quest which lead our party to explore Jotunheimr, with the legendary sword as their final goal.
Nice to see everyone together, plus Sinon, and they actually play the MMORPG game. Well, this anime is supposed to be an online game anyway, so it’s really glad to see it back to its core setting.
